At Oak City Academy, our Primary Montessori classroom is designed to honor the God-given curiosity and capacity of each young learner. Designed for ages 3–6, this program is the foundation of a student’s academic, emotional, spiritual, and social development. This stage lays a joyful, intentional foundation for lifelong learning through hands-on and student-led experiences.

In a peaceful, thoughtfully prepared environment, children encounter self-paced learning rooted in the Montessori method. Guided by loving teachers who understand both child development and the Christian worldview, students engage deeply with math, science, phonics-based reading, language, geography, art, and practical life work.

Our classrooms are filled with beautiful Montessori materials—each one designed to awaken the senses, support academic readiness, and encourage confidence and concentration.

The multi-age setting cultivates both leadership and community as older students model responsibility and care, while younger ones thrive through encouragement and example. Daily rhythms include group lessons, outdoor exploration, quiet focus and practical life skills.
