Oak City Academy is a leading private Christian Montessori school serving students in preschool through 8th grade across the Raleigh and Triangle area. At OCA, we believe education is about more than academic achievement—it’s about cultivating whole children: learners who grow in wisdom, joy, generosity, and purpose.

Since 2011, Oak City Academy has been dedicated to nurturing kingdom-hearted learners through a faith-centered curriculum that integrates Christian values with the proven benefits of Montessori education. Rooted in our mission, OCA nurtures a diverse school community where ethnic and racial diversity is celebrated among students, families, and staff. Our community includes families from under-resourced backgrounds who benefit from scholarship opportunities, homeschool families engaged through our Blended Campus, and those seeking a personalized, Christ-centered education. We are committed to providing an affordable Christian education in Raleigh without compromising excellence.

Our school is grounded in a Christian Montessori education model in the early and elementary years, transitioning to a rich Classical Christian curriculum in Middle and High School. We emphasize hands-on experiences that build real-world skills, along with outdoor learning across all grades—knowing that time in nature fosters curiosity, independence, and a love for God’s creation. Unique programs like our Generous Classroom character curriculum and entrepreneurship courses equip students to become thoughtful, compassionate contributors to the world around them. Our school culture is shaped by four core values: Kingdom, Honor, Joy, and Wholeness.
