Where Legacy Takes Root

The Legacy Club was born out of Oak City Academy’s annual Grandparents & VIP Day—a joyful celebration that reminded us just how vital extended family is to a child’s journey. We created the Legacy Club to invite grandparents, extended family, and close family friends into something deeper than a single event: an ongoing opportunity to be part of what God is doing at OCA.

When grandparents and extended family step into the spiritual and educational development of a child, the impact multiplies. The Legacy Club strengthens Oak City Academy through prayer, wisdom, and generosity—and gives loved ones a front-row seat to the growth and transformation happening every day on our campuses.

Here are the ways we invite The Legacy Club to invest in OCA:

TIME

Commit to praying regularly for our students and staff.

TALENT

Volunteer at school events, read with students, or help with projects like gardening or classroom support.

TREASURE

Financially support vital school initiatives—from classroom resources and scholarships to specific financial needs. Alongside our annual end-of-year giving campaign, The Legacy Club members helped raise $100,000 for a new playground on both campuses!

Mission Moments from inside the classroom
What’s Happening on campus with school updates and photos, and event invitations
Prayer Points to join us in prayer for specific requests for the students, staff, leadership and campuses.

We also host seasonal gatherings like our Spring Prayer Breakfast—a meaningful time of connection and encouragement.
