Literature: God-Given Identity

Class Description

This class will focus on reading and discussing literature relating to discovering our God-given identity. Students will participate in small discussion groups to explore themes of identity in each novel using a dynamic socratic discussion format. Texts include The Witch of Blackbird Pond, The Hobbit, A Wrinkle in Time, and biblical archetypes found in the Bible and Greek mythology. Students will engage in creative group projects surrounding the themes of the novels as well as create a book-themed celebration for the class to enjoy.

Cancelation Policy

Any class dropped after the 3rd day of classes at midnight is non refundable. Classes dropped before the 3rd day of school are 50% refundable.
