Recently, our team hosted a special evening to honor the incredible teachers, administrators, and staff who make OCA feel like family. A cozy outdoor setting, BBQ, and lawn games made for a joyful night of connection and celebration. We’re so grateful for the generous, faithful people who pour into our students every day!

Our third graders had a wonderful day exploring Raleigh! They toured the Capitol, visited the Governor’s Mansion, and discovered the wonders of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. We love celebrating capstone years with special experiences like this!

Today’s Legacy Club Prayer Breakfast was so powerful! We praised God together for the involvement of our Legacy Club members, the provision of the playgrounds, and the future launch of OCA’s high school in Fall 2027. We heard club members testify to moments of God’s faithfulness they have experienced in the classrooms this year. We heard freedom stories of God helping students overcome fear to faith filled stories of a student coming into a relationship with Jesus. The morning culminated with the sweetest prayer time and by singing a hymn together (prompted by God through one of our own Legacy Club members!) We love when you can feel the sweetness of God’s presence in community. Honestly it felt a little like church today. It was definitely one of our favorite days. 💗

Our Blended Upper Elementary spent time building a garden bed, measuring the weed fabric, filling it with organic soil and planting beautiful herbs! As they work with their hands and witness the beauty of God’s creation, they are reminded of the care we are called to as stewards of His earth. We can’t wait to watch their hard work grow!

Dan the Animal Man brought quite an adventure to OCA’s Main Campus! Students got up close with some incredible exotic animals, learning firsthand about God’s amazing creatures.
