Oak City Academy is a non-denominational, evangelical Christian school that seeks to imitate God's heart through how we love God & others.  Below is OCA's abbreviated Statement of Faith. A more detailed Statement of Faith is included in each family's TADS Enrollment Contract that each family views before finalizing new student enrollment. 

There is one true and living God. He exists in three Persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God created all things for His glory and man’s purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever through our life and actions.

The Bible is the Word of God and is a fully accurate account of God’s love for us.

Sin has kept us from knowing God and worshipping him but Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for and conquer our sin, was physically resurrected, and now offers a restored relationship with God to all who believe in him.

God alone is the author of salvation which is a free gift God gives and must be received personally by faith.

God created men and women in His image with equal worth and value.

The Holy Spirit gives gifts to those who are in Christ.

The church consists of all who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for their eternal salvation.

Jesus Christ will one day return to establish His kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.
